Launched successfully in 2014, The CITY Academy Awards is a communication platform between professionals of different generations engaged in developing modern cities in Bulgaria and all over the world. The CITY Academy Awards is a contest for innovative projects and ideas, aiming at Bulgarian students, studying in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as young professionals up to 30 years of age. After analyzing and discussing the project with partners, mentors and participants in the first edition, this year it transformed to international contest The CITY Academy Awards 2015. The contest will award project ideas in various categories, developed by young professionals and students of architecture and technical sciences.
The participants in The CITY Academy Awards 2015 will compete in three categories:
+ Future cities (urban solutions, rehabilitation and entertainment areas)
+ Future buildings (residential and office buildings, living and working environment)
+ Future infrastructure (urban transport infrastructure, highroads, roads, tunnels, bridges)
The jury in the contest includes established professionals – architects, engineers, investors, companies-leaders in their field of industry.
The contest is open to young Bulgarians – students, studying in Bulgaria or abroad, and professionals up to 30 years of age. The projects may be developed by one or a group of participants, as it is necessary for the group to select a leader, who will present the project and receive the award if the project is distinguished by the jury.
